With a burgeoning population in the mid-1990s, court facilities were pushed well beyond the point of capacity until the present Osceola Courthouse was completed in 2001. In December of 2020, the Osceola County Commissioners approved a resolution to rename the Courthouse the Jon B. Morgan Courthouse.
