Ninth Circuit Court Website Wins Top Honors

Orlando, FL – The National Association for Court Management (NACM) recently announced that the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court topped the list of recipients for its “Top 10 Court Websites Award.” The award is given to courts who utilize technology to create easy-to-use, interactive websites that facilitate users’ ability to access public records and information on court services and programs.

The Ninth Circuit recently updated its website to make information as easy to access as possible. The implemented changes provide streamlined navigation for persons using mobile phone platforms and set the bulk of information found on the court’s website within two clicks of the homepage. The website also displays prominent social media icons on each webpage, such as for Facebook and Twitter, so that users can stay abreast of any changes or developments in court programs and services.

Recognized as an industry leader in pioneering the use of technology to provide efficient and effective court programs and services, the recent NACM award comes on the heels of the Court receiving several notable awards for the development and implementation of the Virtual Remote Interpreting program. The Ninth Circuit hopes to continue to incorporate innovative, tech-driven solutions to ensure that everyone coming before the Court has equitable access to the judicial system.
