The Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) selected the Honorable Margaret H. Schreiber to receive this year’s James G. Glazebrook Memorial Bar Service Award. This award recognizes state and federal jurists who serve and support the legal profession by demonstrating professionalism in and out of the courtroom — acting with civility, integrity, and respect for the legal system.
These qualities are an irrefutable part of Judge Schreiber’s reputation, who throughout her career has used her time off the bench to serve as a committee member within the OCBA, the Florida Bar, and the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, in addition to the George C. Young American Inn of Court and the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, where she also served as president. She has worked tirelessly beside other jurists to exchange ideas and suggest changes in civil procedures — all to make justice more accessible, fair, effective, responsive, and accountable.
Congratulations, Judge Schreiber, on this well-deserved recognition!
