Bar associations around Florida gathered together virtually on September 15 to celebrate Hispanic excellence in our judiciary at the Third Annual The Florida Jurist: Recognizing Judicial Excellence event. We are proud to announce that one of our own was among the jurists recognized during the occasion: the Honorable Leticia Marques.
Judge Marques joined the bench in 2012, becoming the first Hispanic female judge in Central Florida. Since then she has proudly served our community, while educating future lawyers and judges through her outreach efforts. But, most importantly, Judge Marques continues to inspire many young Hispanic women to pursue the field of law every day.
