After 23 years of service on the Orange County bench, Judge Wayne Shoemaker will retire on June 3.
Judge Shoemaker joined our courts in 1999, first serving in the traffic division. Later, he went on to serve in the county civil, criminal, and specialized divisions. And between 2017 and 2019, he was the Associate Administrative Judge for the Orange County courts.
For over two decades, Judge Shoemaker served the Orange County community with integrity, diligence, and humor. But now he’s ready for the next chapter of his life. We thank you, Judge Shoemaker, for his commitment to justice and our circuit over the years. We wish him the happiest of retirements.
