With the recent decline in new daily cases and the positivity rate of COVID-19 in Orange and Osceola Counties, Chief Judge Lisa Munyon has amended the administrative order governing trial court proceedings and lifted the requirement of face masks.
Effective November 1, face masks will no longer be required in the public spaces of any court facility. Anyone who wants to continue to wear a mask may do so, and those who wish to maintain social distancing will be accommodated when feasible. The circuit will continue to provide clear face masks for jurors and witnesses participating in in-person court proceedings.
Anyone who should be under quarantine due to exposure to COVID-19 or isolating due to a positive COVID-19 test result will be prohibited from entering any court facility.
