Position description
The Ninth Circuit seeks a qualified Audio/Visual Engineer interested in learning and growing in the unique field of courtroom A/V installation and support. This position will join our team of AV Engineers in troubleshooting, repairing and providing direct, on-site user support to Judges and staff on a wide range of cutting-edge courthouse technologies.
The selected candidate will have a general knowledge of electronics and electrical systems; experience using electronic test equipment; experience in copper and fiber optic cabling, HD video, video conferencing and DSP audio. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in A/V diagnosis and repair, outstanding customer service and a desire to learn and grow. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. This position is 40 hours on-site and requires the ability to occasionally work evenings, holidays & weekends. This position is Orange County funded with full benefits.
