Governor DeSantis has appointed two new judges to serve on the Orange County bench at the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court. Help us welcome Heather G. Guarch and Mark S. Miller!
Heather G. Guarch worked as a regional legal advisor for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement since 2018. Previously, she served as an assistant state attorney at the Ninth Judicial Circuit. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and her juris doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She fills one of two new judgeships created this year.
Mark S. Miller worked as a medical malpractice and negligence attorney at Morgan & Morgan. Previously, he served the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement in a variety of positions. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and his juris doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law. He also fills one of two new judgeships created this year.
