The Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) has selected the Honorable Gisela T. Laurent as this year’s recipient of the James G. Glazebrook Memorial Bar Service Award. This annual award honors a state or federal jurist who demonstrates exceptional service and support to the legal community and is dedicated to professionalism – both in and out of the courtroom.
Since joining the Ninth Circuit in 2017, Judge Laurent has been committed to serving the people of Orange and Osceola Counties. She exemplifies professionalism by promoting civility, integrity, and respect for the legal system, which is precisely what this award recognizes.
The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 26 at 3 p.m. at the Marriott Orlando Downtown, located at 400 W Livingston Street, Orlando, Florida 32801.
