Judge Bob LeBlanc was presented with the William M. Hoeveler Judicial Professionalism Award by The Florida Bar’s Standing Committee on Professionalism at The Florida Bar’s Annual Convention in Boca Raton, Florida, on June 22, 2017. During the same award ceremony, Judge Steve Jewett was presented with the 2017 “Judge of the Year” Award. The award is presented by the Justice Teaching initiative of the Florida Supreme Court to the judge who most accurately embodies the spirit of Justice Teaching in delivering civic education to the children of Florida. Judge Jewett is actively involved in educational programs for students aspiring to be attorneys such as the Florida High School Mock Trials, which hold their final round each year at the Orange County Courthouse.
