
History
The Thomas S. Kirk Juvenile Justice Center opened in April of 1991. Due to the explosive growth in population and caseload, the Juvenile Justice Center was expanded in 2007 to house additional courtrooms, hearing rooms, and office space.
Design
The Juvenile Justice complex includes six (6) courtrooms, two (2) hearing rooms, chambers for six (6) Judges, offices for judicial support staff, Court Administration, Teen Court, Clerk of the Circuit and County Courts, State Attorney, Public Defender, and the Sheriff.
Parking
Courthouse parking is located on the West side of the complex. Parking is free.

Any and all other destructive devices and additional items not listed, considered dangerous by the security officials may be confiscated.
