Position description

This is a professional level position within Court Administration which provides administrative support to the daily operations of the division, including juvenile programs and special assignments.  Work requires excellent communication and customer service skills, initiative and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive matters.  Working relationships are established with judges, court personnel, other partnering agencies, and the public. 

A high school diploma or the equivalent and four years of specialized experience as an administrative assistant. OR: An Associate degree in Business or Public Administration or a closely related field and two years of the above-cited experience. OR: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration or a closely related field and one year of administrative support. Progressively responsible administrative experience may substitute for recommended college training on a year for year basis. Experience working with juveniles a plus. Good computer skills with knowledge in database programs preferred. 

Position is located at: Thomas S. Kirk Juvenile Justice Center, 2000 East Michigan Street, Orlando, FL, 32806. Full time position with excellent benefits. Orange County funded, $18.97 an hour. Anticipated start date 10/3/2022.
